Safety Precautions to be taken in household while using electrical
appliances:
- When operating appliances, be pro-active and follow a
few basic appliance safety tips after of course,getting familiar with the
manual.keep everyone safe, including yourself.
- Always make sure while operating electrical appliances
use more caution specially with children in the home. Teach the children
how to use the appliances safely.
- The appliance should be maintained in order to ensure a
long, useful life and to protect the operator against shock or mechanical
mishaps.
- Do not plug any appliance into damaged or faulty
electrical receptacle.
- Never use any appliance that does not have UL seal of
approval and certification.
- Electricity and water shouldn't meet - do not
allow electrical cords to sit,lay come into
contact with water or other liquids.
- Do not use any appliance that has a frayed cord,
exposed wires, melted plugs or burn marks on the prongs. Repair or replace
damaged cords and plugs or discard for safe sake.

because of age
